Built for Speed

Can there be any doubt greyhounds are built for speed? Enjoy more photos from our photo shoot with J Frazz Photography:

Also a good demonstration of the fact that they're sighthounds...look at the focus and concentration throughout.

Gwyn got a new toy especially for the photo shoot. It's rapidly become her favorite! It's an Extreme Kong Flyer. I love that it's so flexible and soft, yet sails through the air and is Kong tough. (And no, we don't get anything for pitching them...just our humble opinion.)

J. Frazz Photography Rocks..continued

When I grow up (as an amateur photographer that is) I wanna' be just like Frazz. I love how he captures personality and movement. Is there any doubt how much Gwyn loves to run?

He also captures the sweetness :D....and the goofiness!

That's Ms. Diva to you!

This is my brother-in-law and sister-in-law's cat. Once upon a time she was known as Surprise. Now she is simply (rightfully) referred to as "Diva" or "The Diva". It must be said with reverence.
Are you sure she's getting my good side?

Wait! Every side is my good side!

You may adore me and feed me noms now.

just a little note..

..on how much I really do love my Nikon Coolpix! (A recurring theme, no doubt.) If you look carefully at yesterday's pictures you can see how great my zoom is...probably the ultimate deciding factor in choosing that particular model. Look at the first and third pictures showing that beautiful cloud outlined by the setting sun. Now look at the second picture...see the same cloud pretty much smack-dab in the middle? Nice, eh?

Fisher King

So I had to stop on the way home last night & shoot this guy. Sorry it's a little blurry...I zoomed in the extreme & then cropped a lot too. He was sitting on the dock that's currently blocked off because of damage courtesy of Hurricane Irene. He had some gulls keeping him company:
