Animal Kingdom

That's right...we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom while we were in Florida. It was terrific fun. Ole' Walt knew what he was doing when he created his empire, and it's definitely fun for kids of all ages. The shows are Broadway quality. Here's a peek at "The Lion King".
And here's a peek at the real lion king! The safari ride was fabulous. We were still early enough during the day that most of the animals were active. Except for the lion. He was catching some rays and enjoying a snooze. You have to look closely to see his back and part of his mane. He's in the grassy area under the tree.
Elephants were roaming about...
And here's your test for the day....how many giraffes do you see? They certainly do camouflage nicely, don't they?

I love giraffes, I haven't been to a zoo in years. Last time I went it was at the D.C. zoo but we didn't get to see the panda bears because the exhibit was shut down. Looks like you had a busy trip. :)

Yes, we were quite busy, but had a blast! So...take the challenge! How many giraffes do you see?

I can see three, but the picture is small so I wouldn't swear to it, ;)

Congratulations! You win the prize...which is, well, honor, recognition, fame and fortune. Okay, so you have to get the fortune on your own ;D But good job! There were a couple of babies in the group. It was fun trying to capture them on the camera as we drove by.
