Over the years I admit to having been suckered in to buying cat and/or kitten toys. Again and again I am forced to concede that I've been duped by brilliant marketing and that the best toys for felines are the ones you already have...the plastic ring off the milk jug, the cardboard tube that held the toilet paper or the paper towels...
But I've modified my self-imposed "don't buy any cat toys" rule a wee bit for wee kittens...
They do like mices and little balls with feathers....
And, apparently, they universally love these little tent-like collapsible cubes! I have a friend who got one for her kitten and he adored it. Then when Mom got her latest kitten we got her one. Again it was tons of fun. So...on this week's trip to the Mart of Wal I bought Xander his very own one...it's good for taking toys in and out and for rolling around the floor...it even draws the big kids into the fun:
