Nottea, her mom. She was all legs!
And here she is in the pasture just one week old. Ready to play.
And this...this is one of my all-time favorite pictures of
Solana. She's just under two weeks old and stretching to look out at me. I think it captures the curiosity and playfulness she's displayed from day one. She's always wanted to be involved in everything!
And here she is today. Well, last week anyway. Words can't express how relieved I am that she's come through the colic episode okay.

I can't get over how fast time has gone by! I remember, too, when she was just a wee baby filly, and now she's all grown up!
I know! Amazing, isn't it? And...she's still growing!
