Is it Time to Play?!

For those of you who missed my earlier rave, Gwyn is holding her favorite toy: her Kong Extreme Flyer. (They should pay me to promote these things, but sadly, they don't.) It holds it's shape when thrown like a frisbee, but is soft rubber so it won't hurt your hound when they go up to catch it and the one who threw it...well, isn't the best thrower in the world! The first time Gwyn got this was when we went up for our photo shoot with Joe Frazz (who's coming down here for a shoot...but more on that later!). It's been a mandatory play toy ever since. I even bought a backup just in case Kong decides to stop making these things.

Cemetery Sitting

There's a very old cemetery one block over from where I work. It's a riot of color this time of year. If one is so inclined, one can sit very still in the middle of said cemetery and almost disappear...no one knows you're there...even the squirrels forget you're a person and begin to move about normally. And with a really good zoom (I love you Nikon Coolpix L120!) you can catch some fun shots of them running up trees.

Delusion

Not really sure why, despite clear & cogent evidence to the contrary, I persist in the delusion that some day my crazy day job and my oh-so-wonderful but very, very full life in the real world will allow me to regularly post on my blog. Maybe some of it is rooted in the fact that I persist in believing that once I start a post I must filter through every wild thought that rushes through my brain and distill it into some coherent story. :::sigh::: Maybe some day....(I often find myself musing).

Some day I may even tell you about the pictures I posted *two* *weeks* ago and promised to tell you about. But not today. Today my crazy day job beckons and I will settle for sharing more random photos:
